NETCONFIG is a South African managed service provider (MSP) founded in 1999 by Iain Emerson. We act as the outsourced IT department for small and medium-sized businesses, covering day-to-day IT support, Microsoft 365 and Copilot, cyber security, backups and staff training under a clear service level agreement (SLA). Our offices are in Westville (Durban) and Johannesburg, and we support Western Cape businesses remotely.

NETCONFIG is a South African managed service provider (MSP) founded in 1999. We act as the outsourced IT department for small and medium-sized businesses, looking after IT support, Microsoft 365 and Copilot, cyber security, backups and staff training.
What are managed IT services, in plain English?
Instead of calling someone only when things break, a managed IT provider looks after your technology all the time. We monitor, update, protect and support your systems under a service level agreement (SLA), so problems are often fixed before you notice them.
Where do you work?
Our head office is in Westville, Durban, and we have an office in Johannesburg. We support businesses across KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng, and we support Western Cape businesses remotely, as we don't have an office there.
Can you help us with Microsoft 365 and Copilot?
Yes. We set up, manage and secure Microsoft 365, and we help businesses get ready for Microsoft Copilot by sorting out data, permissions and training first, so it's useful and safe.
Can you make my business POPIA compliant?
No IT company can make you POPIA compliant on its own, because compliance also involves your policies and processes. We help you put the technical safeguards in place that support your POPIA obligations, such as access control, backups, email security and staff awareness. We recommend getting legal advice for the rest.
