Microsoft Copilot is an AI assistant built into the Microsoft 365 apps your team already uses: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You ask for help in plain language, and it gives you a first draft, a summary or the file you were hunting for.
Think of it as a very keen new colleague who has read everything you’re allowed to read, and nothing you’re not.

A friendly place to start experimenting. It mostly works with information from the web and whatever you paste or upload.
Paid add-on licence
Also works with your emails, meetings, chats and files, right inside your apps. That’s where the real time-saving happens, and where good preparation matters most.
Six everyday jobs Copilot can take off your plate. Each one comes with a prompt your team can copy and try.
Missed the 9am? Ask Copilot for the key decisions and who’s doing what, then get back to your coffee.
Try asking“What did we decide, and who’s doing what?”
Copilot summarises long email threads and drafts a friendly reply for you to check and send.
Try asking“Draft a polite reply asking for the signed quote by Friday.”
Ask where something lives instead of opening twelve folders.
Try asking“Where’s the latest version of the Smith proposal?”
Turn rough notes into a tidy first draft of a policy, a cover letter or a newsletter.
Try asking“Turn these notes into a one-page leave policy.”
Ask questions about a spreadsheet in plain words and get suggested charts and trends.
Try asking“Which month had the highest sales?”
Turn a Word document into a starter slide deck, then add your own sparkle.
Try asking“Create a five-slide deck from this document.”
Good to know: Copilot is clever but not perfect, so a human always checks the final version. We’ll show your team how.
A little preparation means Copilot shows the right things to the right people from day one.
Each Copilot user needs a Copilot licence plus a qualifying Microsoft 365 plan. We match licences to the people who’ll actually use them, so you don’t pay for licences nobody opens.
Copilot needs mailboxes in Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID sign-ins, up-to-date apps and a network that doesn’t block it. Our Microsoft 365 specialists check all of this for you.
Copilot only shows people what they already have permission to open. The catch: years of “share with everyone” links mean some people can open more than they should. Getting this right is also part of protecting personal information under POPIA.
One step at a time, in a sensible order. You always know where we are, what’s next and who’s doing what.
We look at your Microsoft 365 setup, security and the way your team works, and give you a plain-language readiness report.
We recommend the right mix of Copilot Chat and paid Copilot licences for your people and budget. No upselling.
We use Microsoft’s own tools to spot overshared SharePoint sites, Teams and OneDrive files, then fix access together with your site owners.
A handpicked group of keen people tries Copilot on real work for a few weeks, so we learn what helps before anyone else gets a licence.
Short, friendly sessions built around each role’s everyday tasks, with ready-made prompts people can copy.
We check in, answer questions, share new tips and look at usage, so Copilot becomes a habit, not a forgotten tab.
Six quick questions. Nothing is stored, and no email address is needed.

One friendly team, a clear plan and no jargon. Here’s why teams across South Africa trust us with their Microsoft 365.
We’ve been helping South African teams with technology since 1999, and we’ve worked as a managed services provider since 2004.
We look after Microsoft 365 every day, so Copilot fits into the support you already know.

Straight answers, no jargon. Still curious? Ask us anything.
Microsoft Copilot is an AI assistant built into Microsoft 365 apps such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You ask for help in plain language and it drafts, summarises, analyses and finds information, using only the work content you already have permission to access.
Copilot Chat is included at no extra cost with eligible Microsoft 365 plans and mainly works with web information and content you give it. Microsoft 365 Copilot is a paid add-on licence that also works with your emails, meetings, chats and files, right inside the Microsoft 365 apps.
Microsoft 365 Copilot is an add-on to most current Microsoft 365 work plans, including Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium, Apps for business, E3 and E5. Microsoft updates the list of eligible plans from time to time, so we check what you have today before recommending anything.
Copilot only shows people content they already have permission to open, but that includes anything that has been overshared. That is why we tidy SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams permissions before rollout, so Copilot does not surface things like payroll files to the wrong people.
No. Microsoft’s data protection documentation for Copilot states that prompts, responses and data accessed through Microsoft Graph are not used to train foundation models. Your organisation’s existing Microsoft 365 permissions, labels and policies still apply.
Yes. Microsoft sells Microsoft 365 Copilot to South African businesses, with prices shown in US dollars excluding VAT on its South African site. Microsoft includes South Africa in its data-residency commitments for stored Copilot content. However, its April 2026 update to its in-country processing plans no longer lists South Africa for local processing of Copilot prompts.
It depends mostly on how tidy your permissions are. Licensing and setup can be quick, while the readiness check and permissions clean-up take the most time, so we give you a realistic timeline after the readiness check.
No. We recommend starting with a pilot group of people who will use Copilot often, learning what works, and then adding licences for others once you can see the value.
No, Copilot does not make anyone POPIA compliant on its own. Tidying data permissions before rollout supports the security safeguards POPIA expects, and our Managed POPIA Compliance service can help with the bigger picture. This is general information, not legal advice.
Our head office is at 28 Essex Terrace, Westville, Durban, and our dedicated technicians provide support throughout South Africa.
Let’s have a relaxed chat about where you are, what you’d like Copilot to help with and what needs tidying first. No jargon, promise.
