Every now and then, we revel in the opportunity to be a part of something great. Four amazing women from Netconfig’s team recently attended the fabulous Spring fling event at Talloula, in support of Get-it’s charity of choice for the morning, Hearts in Hands Food Bank – NPO, in support of their uplift and refurbishment project at Isibukosezwe Creche in Embo.
With over 100 guests in attendance, the picturesque Talloula Spa in Botha’s Hill proved to be the ideal location for some well-deserved activities, tasty food, wholesome fun, and pampering.
On arrival, attendees were welcomed with a glass of chilled Pongrácz courtesy of the Distell Group, to enjoy as they browsed some fantastic local brands on display at the expo market. The scene was set with the sounds of live music in the air, provided by the stunningly talented Carmen Louisa Rodrigues.
The highlight of the day was a whole host of interesting guest speakers and fun-filled activities headed by the graceful emcee, Kim Griffith Jones. Guests were treated to a morning filled with motivation, inspiration and laughter as keynote speaker Tracy Klokie of Khwezi Solutions gave an insightful and inspiring talk to empower and motivate attendees in their daily lives, followed by a special appearance by the lively characters ‘Charmaine and Bruce’ from Welcome2Durban, played by Lisa Bobbert & Aaron Mcllroy. Life and Wellness coach Pam Dickinson was also in attendance, providing some much-needed insight into leading fulfilling and purposeful lives.
Flora extraordinaire, Kim Radcliff, from Kloof Florist provided guests with an interactive session on how to create beautiful flower arrangements, followed by some serious pampering courtesy of Talloula Day Spa, who had also provided a scrumptious spread for breakfast.
A day filled with incredible prizes, goodie bags, pampers and spoils, this was an event not to have been missed!
