Answer every call, wherever you are
At your desk, on your laptop or on your cell phone.
We set up and look after your business phones, online meetings and meeting rooms, using Microsoft Teams Phone or a cloud phone system, so everyone stays connected without the fuss.
NETCONFIG helps businesses move from old phone systems to cloud calling and easy video meetings. If your team already works in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams Phone keeps calls, chat and meetings in one app. If you’d like a dedicated phone system with extras such as call queues, a cloud phone system like 3CX can suit better. Our head office is at 28 Essex Terrace, Westville, Durban, and we provide support throughout South Africa via dedicated technicians.
At your desk, on your laptop or on your cell phone.
One tap to join, with sound and video that just work.

Here’s the journey of one customer call. No dead ends and no “please hold” forever.
The number your customers already know, even when people work from home or you’ve moved offices.
“Press 1 for sales, 2 for support.” Short, clear and in your own words.
On a laptop, cell phone or desk phone, wherever they are today.
If everyone’s busy, voicemail lands in your inbox so you can call back.
Both are good. The best one is the one that fits how your people already work.

One-touch-join video for boardrooms and meeting spaces, using Teams Rooms-certified kit.
The right kit for each person. Reception gets a desk phone, road warriors get a good headset, nobody gets a mystery box.
One-touch join, a camera that finds whoever’s speaking and sound that reaches the back row. We choose kit that’s certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms, such as Logitech’s Rally range or HP Poly, and set it up so the first meeting just works.
Good calls need a good network, so we check your internet, Wi-Fi and cabling too. See Structured Networks.
We learn how calls move around your business today: who answers, what happens after hours and which numbers matter.
We recommend Teams Phone or 3CX, the best way to connect to the phone network and any kit you need, with a clear quote.
We set everything up, move your numbers, test it properly and show your team how it works with user adoption training.
New starter? Changed opening hours? A headset making a funny noise? Our dedicated technicians sort it out.
Power cuts and local outages still happen, even when load-shedding is quiet. Cloud phones live in data centres, not in your office, so they keep going while your team has power and internet. A battery backup (UPS) for your router keeps the office online, and the mobile app keeps people reachable.
Most business numbers can move with you, including 031, 011 and 021 numbers and, since March 2022, 080, 086 and 087 numbers. Moving a number is usually the slowest step, so we start it early.
Your business number rings wherever your people are: Umhlanga, Sandton, Century City or the kitchen table.
Recording calls can be useful and legal, but there are rules. We’ll help you set it up with POPIA in mind: tell callers, limit who can listen and decide how long to keep recordings.
Teams Phone slots into the Microsoft 365 setup we already help businesses run.
Dedicated technicians look after your system, so you’re never explaining your call flow to a stranger.
Long enough to remember fax machines, current enough to set up Teams Rooms.

Teams Phone is Microsoft’s add-on that turns Microsoft Teams into a full business phone system. Your team makes and answers normal phone calls in the Teams app on a laptop or cell phone, or on a Teams desk phone. You need a Teams licence, a Teams Phone licence and a way to connect to the public phone network.
Yes. Microsoft lists South Africa as a country where its own calling plans are available, and local phone providers can also connect Teams to the phone network (the technical names are Operator Connect and Direct Routing, in case you hear them). We help you choose the route that suits your numbers, call volumes and budget.
Usually, yes. In South Africa, geographic numbers like 031 or 011 can be moved, and since March 2022 non-geographic 080, 086 and 087 numbers can be moved too. Moving a number is normally the slowest part of a switch, so we start it early. Microsoft says moving a number into its calling plans in South Africa takes about 30 business days, and partial moves aren’t supported.
If your team already works in Microsoft 365 and Teams every day, Teams Phone keeps calls, chat and meetings in one place. If you’d like a dedicated phone system with extras such as call queues, or not everyone uses Teams, a cloud phone system like 3CX can be a better fit. We’ll talk it through and recommend one honestly.
It depends on the number of users, the licences you need, how calls connect to the phone network and any hardware. We don’t publish one-size-fits-all prices. Tell us how you work and we’ll send a clear quote.
A cloud phone system runs in data centres, not in your office, so it keeps working as long as your team has power and internet. Keep your router and fibre equipment on a battery backup (UPS), and people can take calls on the mobile app over mobile data if the office goes dark.
Often, yes, but there are rules. RICA allows recording in some situations, such as when you’re a party to the call or when a business meets specific conditions, including telling people in advance. POPIA treats recordings as personal information, so tell callers, limit who can listen and set how long you keep them. Check your approach with your legal adviser.
Not always. Many people use the Teams or 3CX app with a good headset. Busy callers and reception often prefer a certified desk phone, and meeting rooms work best with a Teams Rooms-certified video bar. We’ll suggest kit only where it makes a real difference.
It depends on how many people, sites and numbers you have. Setup itself is often quick, while moving numbers usually takes longest. We’ll give you a clear plan with dates before anything changes.
