SharePoint & Power Apps support that makes work less messy

Files in seventeen places. Approvals lost in inboxes. A spreadsheet called Final_v7_REAL_final.xlsx. We turn the tools already inside your Microsoft 365 into one tidy place to work, then stay on to look after it.

SharePoint support, in a nutshell

NETCONFIG sets up, tidies and looks after SharePoint. We also build simple Power Apps and Power Automate flows that replace paper forms, email approvals and spreadsheet juggling. SharePoint comes with most Microsoft 365 business plans, so you often start with tools you already own.

Our head office is at 28 Essex Terrace, Westville, Durban, and our dedicated technicians support people throughout South Africa. It sits neatly alongside our managed IT services.

Who it’s for
Anyone whose team uses Microsoft 365 and wants less admin and fewer “where’s that file?” moments.
How it works
A free chat, then we map one process, build it, train your people and look after it.
What it costs
It depends on what we build and which licences you need. Many apps run on licences you already have. We quote upfront, before anything starts.
How long it takes
After our first session you get a written plan with dates. We start with one process so you see results early.

Sound familiar?

  • Shared-drive scavenger hunts

Three versions of the same proposal, two of them wrong, and one on someone’s laptop.

  • Approval ping-pong

Leave forms, purchase orders and quotes bounce around inboxes until someone gives up.

  • Spreadsheet towers

Asset lists and customer lists held together by one brave Excel file.

  • Tools that quietly stopped

Microsoft switched off some older tools in 2026, including SharePoint 2013 workflows and InfoPath forms. If a form or approval went quiet, that may be why.

Three Microsoft 365 tools for one calmer workday

SharePoint: a tidy home for your files

Think of it as a filing cabinet everyone can reach from a laptop or phone, with locks on the right drawers. Policies, contracts, drawings and team news live in one searchable place.

  • Version history, so the latest copy is always obvious
  • Search that finds the document, not just the folder
  • The right people with the right access

Want your team to feel confident too? Have a look at our SharePoint and Microsoft 365 training.

Power Apps: simple apps your team will use

Leave requests, stock counts and site inspection forms, built to work on a phone. Fewer clipboards, less retyping, and the information lands exactly where it belongs.

  • Photos, ticks and signatures captured on the spot
  • Built around how your people already work
  • Saved straight into SharePoint, no copy and paste

Power Automate: the work that moves itself

Send an approval to the right manager, file the result and let everyone know, without chasing anyone. We add polite reminders so nothing gets stuck.

  • Approvals that reach the right person first time
  • Everything filed and findable afterwards
  • Reminders so things never sit in someone’s inbox

Real things we can build for your team

Every team has a few jobs that eat up the week. These are the ones we are asked about most.

  • Document management

One home for policies, contracts and drawings, with version history, so “which one is latest?” has one answer.

  • Company intranet

News, policies, forms and the leave calendar in one friendly SharePoint site.

  • Leave requests

Staff apply on their phone, managers approve in one tap, and HR gets the record.

  • Onboarding checklists

Laptop, logins, training and first-week tasks assigned automatically to the right people.

  • Stock checks

A simple mobile app for counts in the warehouse, saved straight to a SharePoint list.

  • Site inspection forms

Photos, ticks and signatures captured on site, not retyped back at the office.

  • Approvals

Quotes, purchase orders and invoices routed to the right person, with polite reminders built in.

  • Sharing with clients and suppliers

Secure SharePoint sites for sharing documents outside your organisation, with access you control.

Getting ready for Copilot? Tidy SharePoint first

Microsoft 365 Copilot can only show people what they already have permission to open. So if the payroll folder is open to everyone, Copilot can surface it for everyone. Before Copilot goes live, we:

  • check who can see what, and fix any overshared sites and “everyone” links
  • archive or delete old content nobody needs
  • give each team a clear structure, so answers come from the right documents
  • use Microsoft’s built-in tools to spot oversharing before it becomes a problem

How we work: chat, map, build, train, look after

  1. 1

    Chat

A relaxed conversation about what’s slowing your team down.

  2. 2

    Map

We sit with the people who do the work and map one process, step by step.

  3. 3

    Build

We build it inside your Microsoft 365 and test it with real users.

  4. 4

    Train

Short, friendly training, so everyone feels confident from day one.

  5. 5

    Look after

Your dedicated IT Manager keeps it healthy, secure and improving.

What does it cost, and how do we start?

No surprises. Here is how the money side usually works.

Often already included

SharePoint comes with most Microsoft 365 business plans. Power Apps and Power Automate can use your existing licences for apps built on your Microsoft 365 data.

Sometimes an add-on

Connecting to certain other systems, extra storage or Copilot may need additional licences. We will tell you before we build anything.

Our time

Scoped and quoted upfront, in writing. Bring your messiest spreadsheet; we have seen worse.

Based in Durban, supporting all of South Africa

SharePoint and Power Apps questions, answered

What is SharePoint, in plain English?

SharePoint is the part of Microsoft 365 where your team stores, shares and finds work documents, and where you can build simple intranet pages and lists. Think of it as a tidy, searchable filing cabinet that everyone can reach from a laptop or phone, with locks on the right drawers.

Is SharePoint included in our Microsoft 365 subscription?

Usually, yes. SharePoint comes with Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard and Business Premium, and with Microsoft’s other business plans. We check your exact licences during the first chat so there are no surprises.

What can Power Apps and Power Automate do for our team?

Power Apps lets us build simple apps for phones and laptops, such as leave requests, stock counts or site inspection forms. Power Automate moves the work along for you, for example sending an approval to the right manager and filing the result in SharePoint.

Do Power Apps cost extra?

Not always. Microsoft says some Microsoft 365 licences include limited Power Apps and Power Automate use for apps that work with your Microsoft 365 data. Apps that connect to certain other systems, or need a fuller built-in database, can need an additional licence, and we will tell you before we build.

How long does a SharePoint or Power Apps project take?

It depends on how many people, processes and files are involved. After a short mapping session we give you a written plan with dates, and we usually start with one process so your team sees results early.

Our old forms or approvals stopped working. Can you help?

Yes. Microsoft switched off some older tools in 2026, including SharePoint 2013 workflows and InfoPath forms in Microsoft 365. We can rebuild those forms and approvals in Power Apps and Power Automate so they keep working.

Do we need to tidy SharePoint before using Microsoft 365 Copilot?

It is a very good idea. Copilot can only show people what they already have permission to open, so overshared folders become easier to find. We review permissions and tidy old content before Copilot goes live.

Does SharePoint make us POPIA compliant?

No single tool does that. POPIA asks organisations to take appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. Well-set-up SharePoint permissions, version history and retention can be part of those measures, alongside your policies, training and legal advice.

Where are you based, and who do you support?

Our head office is at 28 Essex Terrace, Westville, Durban, and we provide support throughout South Africa via our dedicated technicians. SharePoint lives in the cloud, so you get the same care wherever your team works.

Is SharePoint really guaranteed 99.9 percent uptime?

The promise is Microsoft’s, not ours. Microsoft’s published service level agreement sets a 99.9 percent monthly uptime commitment for SharePoint Online, with service credits if it is missed. We look after everything around it: setup, security, backups and support.
