Who we serve: IT support for growing South African businesses
If your team runs on email, Microsoft 365, spreadsheets and Wi-Fi that's not allowed to drop, you're our kind of people. Since 1999, NETCONFIG has looked after the tech for small and medium businesses, so their people can get on with the work they're actually good at.

Bexie says: You don't need to be a "tech company" to need great tech. You just need to rely on it.

NETCONFIG is a managed services provider (MSP). In plain English, we're your outsourced IT department. Questions people ask us
What size businesses does NETCONFIG support?
We mainly support small and medium-sized businesses with up to about 250 users [CONFIRM]. Most of our clients either have no in-house IT team or have a small one that needs back-up.
Do you support businesses in the Western Cape?
Yes. We support Western Cape businesses remotely. We don't have a Cape Town office, so on-site visits are arranged separately [CONFIRM arrangement].
Which industries do you specialise in?
We know logistics and warehousing, finance and insurance, manufacturing and hospitality especially well, and we also support professional services firms and other growing businesses [CONFIRM].
Can you help us with POPIA?
Yes, with the technology side. We help you secure personal information, control who can access it and keep reliable backups. If personal information is compromised, POPIA section 22 requires you to notify the Information Regulator and affected people; the Information Regulator says that since 1 April 2025 all section 22 security compromise notifications must be reported on its eServices portal rather than by email. We're not lawyers, so we work alongside your legal or compliance adviser.
We're a financial services business. Do you understand the IT rules we work under?
We understand the IT side of them. The FSCA and Prudential Authority's Joint Standard 2 of 2024 on cybersecurity and cyber resilience has applied to financial institutions since 1 June 2025, the commencement date the two regulators confirmed in a joint notice. We help you put practical IT controls in place to support your compliance work; your board and compliance officer remain accountable for compliance itself.
